Well it was an awesome day of wheeling at Walker. Both wagons went with myself, Tony, Don and Ben. We went Pat's Trail to Express Way, parts of Upper Mainline and attempted the one part where we were told it doesnt go anywhere (same spot where we got stuck in the snow a while back). That part of the trail was closed off this weekend because DNR was making improvements ;D on it, making it more challenging and what not. They anticipate it reopening next weekend. We did however venture up to see where it came out and also ventured up the service road til it came to an end. It was very cloudy up there, but we are sure there is an awesome view from the top there.
Did our part in trail trash cleanup along the way, always good. Rigs did great! No carnage to report, just some rubbing. I of course took the wagon places where it probably shouldn't go (one being the rocks where James almost rolled coming off Express Way), but with great spotting by everyone, and gathering of spectators, got it through no prob.
Looking forward to next time. ;D

We also found out DNR is putting in some sort of skills course at the upper end of upper mainline. This is according to the DNR trails manager.
The other intereting thing we learned was that it is OK to crawl over the rocks at the gate that leads to lower mainline when the gate is locked. The trails manager said that the gates are closed to prevent garbage dumpers, wood stealers and to keep the big truck yahoo's off the trails.
And like Eric said, an awesome day of wheeling wagons. Anybody who didn't go missed a great day.
Tony
